Damaged Repairs
FibreCraft is able to carry out even the most extensive Damaged Repair to Lifeboat-Davit system, including damaged to the Fibreglass Hull Superstructure.
Such Structural Damaged Repairs are carried out on Lifeboats that were damaged during sea operations and accidents. These include; complete collapse of the fibreglass canopy superstructure and structural crack of the hull.
On completion of these repairs, the lifeboat will be load tested to ensure that the structural integrity is brought back to its original state. Thereafter the lifeboat will be set for a sea trail to proof its full function.
For Damaged at Sea, FibreCraft can arrange for the lifeboat to be off-landed to our work yard and place a liferaft in-lieu of it for the ship to sail. FibreCraft have the full facility to carry out repairs and testings to ensure that the lifeboat is ready to be deployed back to the ship at sea on its return voyage.
